You’re a New WoSEC Chapter Leader

This Slack thread is key to quickly finding answers and the support you need. The person who welcomed you into WoSEC will send you the Slack invite.

Pro Tip: Join only the general, random & contact-info channels at first, otherwise you’ll feel overwhelmed.

• WoSEC’s platform of choice is Meetup.
• In order to make it easy for people to find us, every chapter's name must keep to WoSEC's naming convention. 
  • The format is: WoSEC acronym, the name of the city, a colon, and then. the words “Women of Security”. (Note that it’s Women of Security and not “in Security”.) For example, “WoSEC Halifax: Women of Security”
• In the interests of consistent branding, the cover photo should be the WoSEC logo. However, each chapter is permitted to customise their logo with the insertion of a small graphic that represents their city. 
  • Specific guidelines can be found in the WoSEC Slack thread under the #personnalized-logo (yes, it is misspelled).
